Infatuation With Pearls

Stepping out of my comfort zone of hoops, I have been infatuated with pearls and have been wanting to create something big, oversized, but not overwhelming the space.  But rather light, modern, and airy. Geometric but also feminine.

Maybe there are plenty of you that can relate. I have always been the creator who made something with myself in mind. In every creation, I ask myself: "Would I wear this?"

This one, for example. In the making, I adore this dusty lavender hue so much and thinking maybe I will keep this pair. Unfortunately, violet is not my color nor the yellow gold.

Any jewelry in yellow gold is delicate, expensive, conservative, high class and feminine. This is how I feel about this pair of floating pearl escargot hoop earrings

While with the rose gold, the mood shift slowly to more modern, gorgeous, chic but effortless laissez-faire.  During this process I had been experimenting with shapes, and this came out prettier than what I have in my mind. I love how the dark pearl lies perfectly in the middle like a superstar but doesn't eliminate the existence of the ear frame.

And lastly the sideway crescent, still with peach pearl. For this shape, I chose rose gold. it falls effortlessly down your earlobe. Amplifying indeed, but only to your style.

There are still creativity untold, and I definitely will come back to fulfil the crave. Until then, I would like to know your opinion. Do you have a preference material for a jewelry? and what gemstone do you like the most? and on a more personal question, If you are a creator, do you also think about yourself when you create something?

Yellow, Purple, and White

The sun has been hiding so much these days I miss it. It gets so cold, I am obliged to wear layers and layers of outfit, oh so heavy... Today I created some sort of combination of yellow and purple jewelries just so the day gets  brighter, at least in my imagination...

Hope that the weather forecast is wrong about tomorrow, and my sun gets to say hello a little bit...

Water Bubbles Water Color

Hello! Had a great weekend? I did.  You've probably have guessed what I did this weekend... yeah, still on this subject

I've tried different way to develop these dots, but I ended up hating all of them, and, worst, throwing all of them. Here is the 'best' one... Which while I typed it is already in the recycle dumpster.

Experimenting on the Image Background

If you see my last product images, you probably have already guessed on what I have been obsessed these last days.

Right, dots... I have been spending my time sitting down on the floor dotting every white space I could find.

I have loved some and hated some more. But one thing I know I wouldn't quit. After all it made cute backgroud to my product photos.
Well, well, have a good inspiring weekend! I'll probably stay at home and dotting some more...

A Week before the Wedding...

The sun shone warmly last weekend, I got a chance to take a walk and capture this beautiful flower. Unfortunately, it would be the last nice weather before the fall starts.. This is the busiest I ever get after the vacation last summer.  We are preparing for the wedding at the townhall and the party the day after, I never really imagine that with all the unexpected detail things can be so crammed and busy.  I have made a couple of jewelries that I haven't got a chance to post at my etsy shop. Here is three of them....

Before I get my concentration back at work, I am expecting a week break after the wedding, and, finally, after that many visits to the tower, we finally would be able to climb up the Eiffel Tower and looking down to Paris.  I see you next weekend!

Customized Jewelry for Madame H

Dear Madame H, I'm sorry you lost your jewelry, fortunately I am still here. It's true that I couldn't remake exactly the same pieces for it has been awhile, but here goes the two propositions.

The good news is I am able to find the identical Czech rondelles for the top, the swarovski crystals in the middle, and the baroque fresh water pearl at the end. There are, meanwhile, five milimeters difference of length between the two, 45mm vs 50mm. While the shorter has bigger chain and 4 smaller fresh water pearls, the longer has thinner chain and 4 bigger fresh water pearls. If you want the two sets to be identical, only the shorter option is available. I hope it is not too hard to decide. Hope to hear from you!

Three little Pigs

I am not sure how long it drops down, but not too exagerating I promise. Opposite from the name that reminds you of clumsiness and comics, this three levels of oval peachy baroque fresh water pearls give a sense of profoundness.  Combination with a sad sad grey swarovski that reminds me of a color of the sky behind the rain.
