A Week before the Wedding...

The sun shone warmly last weekend, I got a chance to take a walk and capture this beautiful flower. Unfortunately, it would be the last nice weather before the fall starts.. This is the busiest I ever get after the vacation last summer.  We are preparing for the wedding at the townhall and the party the day after, I never really imagine that with all the unexpected detail things can be so crammed and busy.  I have made a couple of jewelries that I haven't got a chance to post at my etsy shop. Here is three of them.... 

Before I get my concentration back at work, I am expecting a week break after the wedding, and, finally, after that many visits to the tower, we finally would be able to climb up the Eiffel Tower and looking down to Paris.  I see you next weekend! 

Simone's Photo Session

We started off with Simone's favorite outfit as it is posed here, we took an 'introduction' snapshot in her apartment, unfortunately the window is facing to the east while that afternoon it seemed too cloudy to take great photo.  So we decided to go outdoor and the choice goes to Square René le Gall.  It was much better, but even that the sun couldn't stop teasing us the whole day that day.  Sometimes it charged up so hot and strong that we should go to the shadow.  Often times it is not enough... Finally, I am pretty happy with the result.  Here are my favorite captures.

Indian Turquoise Necklace

The 2mm vintage gold chain pierces directly through the handmade blowglass in solid dark turquoise and 14k gold rondelle crown thus rail within the chain playfully. With a perfect length of 41cm, so it fall just between the collar bone. Closing, five o-ring attached one after the other to have a little personal adjustment on length of the necklace. 

This necklace in one way or the other looks rustic, but the touch of 14k gold really reminds me of a bollywood movie which is the contrast of being rugged. The shape of the happy pendant is a little traditional, cultural, and eastern. It would be beautiful with a traditional south east asian costume or, even, a bohemian style.

Uncaged Violet

Not sure whether I get stuck or still fall in love with my old way, this is not my first time, again, to give an illusion as if the crystal is free from cage, being beaded, that was. One opal in violet hue, rather pastellish without losing her character as a swarovski, she sized around 8mm diameter in real life.

Mongolian Garden

Still inspired a lot by the ball-chain,  I stumble upon a ceramic beads that was kept quite long time ago. Mixed (un)matched with champagne, olive, and (naturally) gold.. makes this necklace as if it comes from somewhere around northern part of China, or even closer to Mongolia. 

Simplicity, it's how I always try to stay fidel with, yet, often fail to harmonized the color.. Why? I find it somehow beautiful, even if they are completely contrast to one another. Rouge contre vert.

Heartbeat

I would say that this is the most simple thing I've put together. I had been falling in love with this super little ball-chain and this swarovski heart-shape crystal in my favorite color, champagne, not sure what its called in the Swarovski color-chart, have been in my keepsake for a loongg time and not sure how to make something beautiful with it. Who knows that I end up with something so simple. Something that you can wear everyday..

Eggplant Necklace
