Hello Autumn!

Look at this gorgeous color!! This year the Autumn came a bit late, usually the leaves in front of our apartment started to change their color at the beginning of october, but this time, they stay green.  If are with me on instagram (@sianykitty) you've probably already know about it.

Contemplating those Beautiful Days in the Past

It gets less cold in Paris, but the sun is too lazy to hang out. I am sitting by the window thinking about those beautiful days in the past. The winter starts late, and will end late.  These photos we took around November at Parc de Bercy.

We installed in a nice bench and shared our lunch with these cute little sparrows.

Afterward there were an American-Rumanian couple with her parents who came from Washington state for a vacation who asked me to take their picture.  They wanted me to do it from the far so the autumn flowers somehow appears in the image, I imagined they'd probably use this photo for their christmas greetings. So I try really hard to make it good. ;) 

Not easy! I should passed the camera to D, usually he takes better photos. Oh well, instead he took me.

Happy Thansgiving!

A couple of weeks ago, we visited, again, Parc de Bercy, yeah we can't get enough of dead leaves. There is something magical about the falling leaves, not the dead.  The soft warm color of autumn.. Everything is beautiful, even the sky, and the special flower that blooms just during this time of season...

My Husband was too excited and took almost all corner that he consider gorgeous.  Consequently, it is kinda hard to see him not aiming for a second.  Sometimes he would leave me alone with my park and concentrate on his object.  Sometimes needs model for his backdrop.  In that case, I solve his problem.  I am his most truthful model (as he is my truthful photographer).

Well, I came prepared, with the gorgeous hair, soft make up, and, of course, I brought some of the jewelry.   I told him, I will model for you, if you take the photos of the jewelries.  Well, he couldn't say no too often.. so obviously..

So, after being told to pose this and pose that, here goes, in my opinion, the best four. You'll ask where are the jewelries? I guess my sweet photographer focus too much on the cute face and the autumn leaves...

In that case, he owe me a light box! uh? where did that come from? umh, somewhere...

Toussaint Holiday and Halloween

For the toussaints holiday, Paris had shed quite a bit of a population. While others visit the tombs of their love ones, the rests stay in the city park to enjoy their afternoon with the falling leaves...

I'm Back Happily Married

 

Hei I'm back! Last week would probably the last shorts and light jeans jacket I wear for the year as it starts to get super cold out there.

Despite of the weather, I am so happy to finally step on to a marriage life.  After the grandiose engagement party in Indonesia, a couple of romantic photo sessions as a newlyweds, the formalities at the town hall, an intimate wedding party in Paris, and a week of honey moon just the two of us, I am glad to finally get to breath fresh air without having to think about a wedding details.   

This week I plan to share a couple of things I did with my hands around the wedding preparation: the handmade hand bouquet, jewelries I made to match my red and white ao dai, and finally the table stationary I made for each of our guests on our wedding day. And if you are lucky perhaps I'll casually post some of our photos :) Enjoy your monday!  

A Week before the Wedding...

The sun shone warmly last weekend, I got a chance to take a walk and capture this beautiful flower. Unfortunately, it would be the last nice weather before the fall starts.. This is the busiest I ever get after the vacation last summer.  We are preparing for the wedding at the townhall and the party the day after, I never really imagine that with all the unexpected detail things can be so crammed and busy.  I have made a couple of jewelries that I haven't got a chance to post at my etsy shop. Here is three of them.... 

Before I get my concentration back at work, I am expecting a week break after the wedding, and, finally, after that many visits to the tower, we finally would be able to climb up the Eiffel Tower and looking down to Paris.  I see you next weekend! 

It's Autumn!

Everybody loves autumn! It's true!  Despite of the clouds, and the touissant holiday that normally calms down any parisian park's population, this weekend it happens otherwise.   

Even the witches love the October air...
